Conferences and events often require high-resolution images, slides and video to be shown to the guests, typically this is done using laser projectors and fabric screens either front or rear projection, however in many cases the output isn’t quite bright enough and can result in the visuals becoming difficult to see if there is light either artificially or indeed natural light from windows and doors.

8 Frequently asked questions about LED Video Wall

How long does it take to build the video wall

Assuming we have level access to the event space it would be approximately 60 minutes to build the wall ready for use, this assumes the space is clear and power is ready and available.

How do I connect my laptop to the video wall

We provide a video processor which has an HDMI connection suitable for your laptop or macbook.

Does the LED Video Wall have speakers

Unfortunately not, we can provide a variety of speaker and microphone option for your event, just contact us for more details.

Can the brightness be adjusted

Yes! there are around 15 levels of brightness, we often run the wall at 80% brightness but we can adjust this to suit you.

Do I need an engineer for the event

The simple answer to this is peace of mind and smooth operation. However the LED Wall is pretty much on or off so we are quite happy to leave this without an engineer though we will show you how to power it should you have any power cuts.

Can the LED Video Wall be a different size or shape

The LED wall is built using 32 panels that are 500mm x 500mm each so we can build a variety of shapes and sizes to the maximum of 32 panels, if you require a larger screen than this please get in touch as we can source additional screen to add to this video wall.

We have lots of delegates, will they all be able to see the screen?

The ideal viewing distance is around 2.5m back from the screen and a great view will be had as far as 30m back from the screen and more, it really depends on the content and the text size being used.

We can also offer repeater screens which are LED TV screens located towards the back of the event space to help those delegates that are unable to see the main screen.

Is there a booking fee required?

With our conferencing events the booking fee will be 25% of the total hire amount and confirms all of the equipment necessary to fulfil your requests. The balance would be due prior to the event taking place.
