Will AV Hire Bristol provide services to your event
Where there are no Government national or local rules preventing your event from legally happening, we will provide the services as stated, should your event be prevented we will discuss this with you prior to the event.
Our warehouse and office space are adhering to all government guidelines and staff are only present when required and remain socially distant at all times. Our staff and installation teams remain apart to mitigate the risk of multiple team members catching the coronavirus infection (COVID-19) simultaneously and conduct regular lateral flow testing.

We fully support our staff and freelancers health and well-being, to this end we would welcome and support the following.
Precautions might include, but are not limited to:
- Taking regular breaks to wash their hands or go outdoors to remove a mask.
- Keeping a minimum distance of 2m from all guests and venue staff.
- Wearing a mask or face covering whilst setting up and packing down, in some case, this may also be required during the event.
- Screens may be used around the engineers where required.
- The social distance between the team and guests or members of the public must be adhered to at all times.
- Crowd barrier may be used where required.
- Guest will not be permitted to use equipment unless previously agreed and planned.
What happens if the staff booked for an event are unable to attend as a direct result of the coronavirus infection (COVID-19)?
In the event that the allocated staff are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, AV Hire Bristol reserves the right to change the staff without prior notice, however, we will endeavour to inform you of this if time permits.
With a network of more than 30 skilled events specialists we are confident that we will always be able to find a replacement in good time. We also have a network of other similar businesses that we can call upon should the need arise.
If we are unable to secure a replacement you will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid. We will give you as much notice as possible.
What if I have symptoms of COVID-19
Should you or a member of your household or workplace test positive for COVID-19 and be told to self isolate for 10 days and your event is within this time period you must follow the current Government advice if you have symptoms of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), however mild, is: do not leave your home for 10 days from when your symptoms started.

In the event of the above, your booking will be postponed at no cost to you, you can move it to any date within 12 months.
